Inspired by his mother's work ethic and philanthropic spirit, Don is deeply committed to giving back to the community. Here in Atlanta, he's proud to support organizations that make a real difference - including Atlanta Pride, which celebrates LGBTQ+ inclusivity and connection across the city, and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, where hope and healing meet innovation.

Throughout his career, Don has helped raise money and awareness for countless non-profits through telethons, community fundraisers, and special events. He's also co-hosted benefit programs alongside his husband, Adam - using their shared platform to spotlight compassion and care.

Outside the newsroom, Don values time with family and friends and loves exploring all that Georgia has to offer - from mountain escapes to new local spots (coffee shops are his favorite) that tell the story of this vibrant city he now calls home.
